Revolt of the judges

The judges' association in Burkina Faso has protested a decision cancelling the assignment of a civilian judge and members of the civilian prosecution service to the country's military court. Details here (in French). The protest demands that the steps recently taken to ensure the independence of the civilian judiciary be extended to the military court or, in the alternative, that the two be merged to avoid thus kind of situation in the future.
