The Azaria trial begins

Haaretz's Gili Cohen reports here on the opening session of the court-martial of IDF Sergeant Elor Azaria. Among the issues: is this a case of selective prosecution? how much time does the defense get for preparation? should the accused be allowed out of restriction for Israel's Independence Day? Good, detailed courtroom reporting on an important and closely-watched case with heavy political implications.
